Stuart Smith Plastering and Welding
You must be wondering why I chose two very different trades. Both trades allow me to do what I love to do best and that
is take something old, worn out, battered and beaten and make it new again. Ensuring I achieve a finish that makes it shine. I pride
myself on ensuring all my work, whether it be a hole underneath an old car or repointing an old restricted heritage lime building,
is completed with the best finish achievable.
I’ve been welding since 2006. I started by restoring old cars; this developed into weld art and gates, plus stainless works like
railings and into heritage work repairing and restoring old railing and gates even a bell tower once but I still keep to
my roots with mot welding and car restorations
I started plastering in 2013 when we bought our first house, which needed a lot of work. To support this I became a plasterer
for a local company working all over Cornwall. While skimming and rendering I learnt to work with lime and lime based products,
this quickly became a passion of mine. Working with lime plasters and renders continuing into the heritage work restoring
old buildings back to their former glory.
I provide free and honest quotes , quickly with no obligations. I also ensure all my customers are left with a care package
to ensure a quality finish.
